Heels for Barbie by Christian Louboutin

If I must say so myself Barbie has lived the perfect life and it’s just getting better. I mean what woman wouldn’t look forward to turning 50 if she had the figure of a runway model, never aged, no grey hairs and to top it all off heels designed especially for you by Christian Louboutin.

Christian Louboutin is designing heels that are Barbie Pantone 219 Pink in honor of the 20th century most iconic female. The “Barbie” heels will make their debut at the special runway show that Mattel Inc. is putting on during New York Fashion Week next year in February 2009.

Fifty obscure designers will craft outfits inspired by Barbie for the runway show.The pink heels designed by Christian Louboutin will be worn by the models during the runway show as well.

I guess you could compare Barbie with a fine bottle of wine, as she only gets better with age.[WWD]
