Shoes Allegedly Worn by Sarah Palin Sale for $2,025

A pair of shoes allegedly worn by Gov. Sarah Palin during her campaign for vice president netted $2,025 in an online auction early Tuesday morning.
The pair of red, Naughty Monkey Double-Dare pumps were sold in an eBay auction that ended at midnight Tuesday.
The shoes normally go for about $100.
Someone calling herself Palin’s niece was selling the red shoes she said the governor gave to her and also threw in an autographed picture of the governor wearing the shoes, as well as a Sharpie pen Palin used for autographs during the campaign.
Sarah Palin’s alleged niece’s ad on eBay read:
“Up for bid are thee actual Red Naughty Monkey Heels owned/worn by Sarah Palin. I got the shoes from Aunt Sarah after mentioning that I liked them. They don’t fit to well, so I decided to let someone else enjoy them.
“These are the exact heels that made headlines. If you search “Sarah Palin’s Red Shoes” on a search engine, you will find multiple blogs, articles, and stories on these shoes. You could own a piece of history!!!
“The shoes are NOT autographed, but the buyer has the option of having them autographed!! I included pictures of the shoes, the autographed pictures, the Sharpie pen, and me and my aunt (just taken a couple days ago).”
These shoes are very special since they may have graced the feet of Sarah Palin. It’s a good thing you don’t have to pay that much for a pair of your own and you can actually wear these. [KTUU]
