Nicole Richie is always one step ahead of the trends, so it would only be right for her to join other celebrity shoe designers like Jessica Simpson and Fergie.

Richie partnered up with the makers of Modern Vintage shoes and Earnest Sewn Jeans to introduce a line of accessories including about 20 styles of shoes, handbags, and belts to its spring 2010 collection.

According to Richie’s business partner, Rick Cytrynbaum, she is no absentee designer and she is designer everything herself.

“She’s totally devoted to this, and we’re creating a whole lifestyle around her aesthetic and what is true to her.”
