- Now I have never really been a fan of Crocs footwear, and after reading about the lawsuits against Crocs and the accident involving an escalator and a  4 year-old boy, I’m pretty glad. Last month in Florida the young boy’s Crocs became trapped in an escalator. According to some of the reports he sustained multiple foot fractures and had escalator grease in his foot all the way down to the bone. I hope it all works out for the best for Crocs and all it’s customers that have fallen victim to these shoes. [newsinferno]

- I have heard of Easter egg hunts, treasure hunts but never a shoe hunt. The hunt for gold shoes kicks off Monday in Chemung County, NY and ends on May 16th. Three-hundred gold painted shoes will be hidden through out several community parks and walking trails with several small and large prizes waiting for you once you redeem the golden ticket from inside the shoe. Now this is really starting to take on a Willy Wonka feel, I wonder if one of the prizes is a trip to the Christian Louboutin shoe headquarters? [wetmtv]

- Kanye West has really been in the news a lot lately. If it’s not about his fashion crew, its about Kanye’s shoes or him with Amber Rose. Well you know I’m not going to let you down because I have a combination of Kanye West, his shoes and Amber Rose all in one. The three of them had a photo shoot together recently for a supposed promotional ad campaign for French fashion designer Louis Vuitton’s luxury fashion line. [anorak]
