Jimmy Choo who was born Jimmy Choo Yeang Keat in Penang in 1961 into a family of shoemakers, is a London based luxury fashion designer known for his hand-made women's designer shoes. At the age of 11 he made his first shoe. Jimmy Choo operates more than 25 stores around the world. A few stores have opened as far away as Thialand and Japan. There are plans to open additional stores in Hong Kong, Las Vegas, and Tokyo.
